PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    INSTALL BATTERY SMART UNIT

    CAUTION:

    Wear insulated gloves.


    1. w/ No. 1 HV Battery LH Cover Bracket:


      1. A00062QE03

        Install the battery smart unit together with the No. 2 HV battery shield panel to the side of the HV battery from the rear of the vehicle.

        Tip:

        When installing the battery smart unit and No. 2 HV battery shield panel to the vehicle, they can only be installed as a unit.

      2. A00083LE05

        Install the bolt.

        7.5 N*m 76 kgf*cm 66 in.*lbf
        Note:

        Check color of the label.

      3. Install the wiring harness protector to the battery smart unit connector.

      4. Connect the battery smart unit connector.

        Tip:

        Make sure that the connector is connected securely.

      5. Engage the 2 claws to install the wiring harness protector cover to the battery smart unit connector.

      6. Install the No. 2 HV battery shield panel to the HV battery with the 2 bolts.

        7.5 N*m 76 kgf*cm 66 in.*lbf

      7. Engage the 3 wire harness clamps to the No. 2 HV battery shield panel.

      8. Connect the 2 battery smart unit connectors.

        Note:

        Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

    2. w/o No. 1 HV Battery LH Cover Bracket:


      1. A00062QE05

        Install the battery smart unit together with the No. 2 HV battery shield panel to the side of the HV battery from the rear of the vehicle.

        Tip:

        When installing the battery smart unit and No. 2 HV battery shield panel to the vehicle, they can only be installed as a unit.

      2. A0007VSE03

        Install the bolt.

        Note:

        Check color of the label.

      3. Connect the battery smart unit connector.

        Note:

        The connector should be connected securely.

      4. Install the No. 2 HV battery shield panel to the HV battery with the 2 bolts and nut.

        7.5 N*m 76 kgf*cm 66 in.*lbf

      5. Connect the 3 wire harness clamps to the No. 2 HV battery shield panel.

      6. Connect the 2 battery smart unit connectors.

        Note:

        Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

        Install the battery cover lock striker, then push the button to lock it.

    INSTALL NO. 1 HV BATTERY LH COVER BRACKET (w/ No. 1 HV Battery LH Cover Bracket)

      Install the No. 1 HV battery LH cover bracket to the HV battery with the battery cover lock striker, then push the button to lock it.

    2. Install the 2 nuts.

    INSTALL ROOM PARTITION PANEL INSULATOR


    1. Install the room partition panel insulator with the 4 clips.
