LIGHTING SYSTEM Footwell Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the door mirror foot lights.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

  2. CHECK OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH (POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the J7*1 or J11*2 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.


      • *1: for TMMT Made

      • *2: for TMC Made

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      J7-3 (MLP) - Body ground Illumination conditions of door mirror foot light met* 11 to 14 V

  3. INSPECT DOOR MIRROR FOOT LIGHT LH


    1. Remove the door mirror foot light LH.

      Click here

      Check door mirror foot light LH illumination.


      1. Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the door mirror foot light LH and check the illumination condition of the door mirror foot light LH.

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (+)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (E)

        Illuminates

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the J7*1 or J11*2 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.


      • *1: for TMMT Made

      • *2: for TMC Made

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for TMMT Made

      J7-9 (-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      for TMC Made

      J11-12 (-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
