CONDENSER REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL COOLER DRYER (for VALEO Made)

   
   

   1. 

      *a

      Modulator

      Using needle-nose pliers install a new cooler dryer to the modulator.

   2. 

      Apply sufficient compressor oil to the O-ring.

      Compressor Oil
      VC100YF or equivalent

      Note

      Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free from dirt or foreign matter.

   3. 

      *a

      Modulator

      Using a T55 "TORX" socket wrench, install the cap to the modulator.

      Torque:

      11 N*m  { 112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

2. INSTALL COOLER DRYER (for DENSO Made)

   
   

   1. 

      *a

      Modulator

      Using pliers, install a new cooler dryer to the modulator.

   2. 

      Sufficiently apply compressor oil to the 3 O-rings and fitting surfaces of a new cap.

      Compressor Oil
      ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

      Note

      Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free from dirt or foreign matter.

   3. 

      *a

      Modulator

      Using a 14 mm straight hexagon, install the cap to the modulator.

      Torque:

      4.0 N*m  { 41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }
