FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the driver side and front passenger side.

  • The procedure listed below is for the driver side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)


    1. Install the front seat belt anchor plate.

    2. w/ Vertical Adjuster:


      1. A001VT9C01
        *a Protruding Part

        Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

        Note

        Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster assembly.

      2. Engage the clamps.

    3. w/o Vertical Adjuster:


      1. A001V0UC01
        *a Protruding Part

        Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

        Note

        Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster assembly.

      2. Engage the clamp.

    4. A001WRS

      Engage the claw and clamp.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. Install the front seat belt anchor plate.

    2. A001XQCC01
      *a Protruding Part

      Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster assembly.


      1. Engage the clamp.

    3. A001X74

      Engage the claw and clamps.

    4. Connect the connector.
