DESCRIPTION

This circuit supplies power to the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly when the ignition switch to ON.

Note


  • w/ Stop and Start System:

    As the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is supplied power from the engine stop and start ECU, make sure that the stop and start system is not malfunctioning before performing the following inspection procedure.

  • w/o Stop and Start System:

    Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (IGB VOLTAGE)

      (to Millimeter Wave Radar Sensor Assembly)

      Disconnect the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly connector.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      A2-8 (IGB) - Body ground Ignition switch ON

      11 to 14 V*1

      10.5 to 16 V*2


      • *1: w/o Stop and Start System

      • *2: w/ Stop and Start System

    4. Turn the ignition switch off.

    5. Reconnect the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly connector.

      Disconnect the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A2-1 (SGND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Connect the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly connector.
