VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM Brake Warning Light does not Come ON

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is connected to the combination meter assembly via CAN communication.

  • When replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), perform system variant learning.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.

  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (BRAKE WARNING LIGHT)


    1. Select the Active Test on the GTS.

    2. Select the Data List on the GTS.

    3. Check the operating condition of the brake system warning light (red indicator) when operating it using the GTS.

  3. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY


    1. Perform the Active Test of the combination meter assembly using the GTS.

    2. Check the combination meter assembly.

      OK
      The brake system warning light (red indicator) turns on or off in accordance with the GTS.
