CLUTCH PEDAL(for LHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL PAD


    1. Install the clutch pedal pad to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  2. INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS BUSH


    1. Install a new clutch master cylinder push rod clevis bush to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

      Note

      Install the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis bush from the left side of the vehicle.

      Apply MP grease to the inside of the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis bush.

  3. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR

      Apply MP grease to both sides of 2 new clutch pedal bushes.

    2. Install the 2 clutch pedal bushes and clutch pedal shaft collar to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  4. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL TURNOVER BUSH

      B00495X MP Grease

      Apply MP grease to the inside of the clutch pedal turnover bush and install the bush to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  5. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING HOLDER


    1. A001SXW

      Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the clutch pedal spring holder and install the clutch pedal spring holder to the clutch pedal bracket sub-assembly.

  6. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A001SM9C01
      *1 Clutch Pedal Support Sub-assembly
      *2 Clutch Pedal Bracket Sub-assembly
      *3 Clutch Pedal Sub-assembly
      *a 90°

      Install the clutch pedal sub-assembly, clutch pedal bracket sub-assembly and clutch pedal support sub-assembly with the bolt and nut as shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      36.8 N*m  { 375 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Note


      • Install the bolt from the left side of the vehicle.

      • Turn the nut while holding the bolt.

  7. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING


    1. Move the pedal to the full stroke position.

    2. Install the clutch pedal spring to the clutch pedal assembly.

  8. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL STROKE SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  9. INSTALL CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  10. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the clutch pedal support assembly to the clutch master cylinder assembly with 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      12.7 N*m  { 130 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

    2. Install the No. 4 instrument panel bracket to the clutch pedal support assembly with bolt.

      Torque:
      23.6 N*m  { 241 kgf*cm, 17 ft.*lbf }

    3. Engage the clamp to the clutch pedal support assembly.

    4. Connect the 2 connectors.

  11. CONNECT CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

      B00495X MP Grease

      Apply MP grease to the clevis pin.

    2. Connect the clutch master cylinder assembly to the clutch pedal assembly with the clevis pin.

      Note

      Install the clevis pin from the left side of the vehicle.

    3. Install a new clip to the clevis pin.

  12. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONER UNIT ASSEMBLY
