The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during cruise control main switch removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER

      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 3 claws and guide to remove the lower No. 2 steering wheel cover.

  3. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH

      B00497S Remove in this Direction

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Remove the cruise control main switch as shown in the illustration.

  4. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH WIRE


    1. A001X23

      Disconnect the connector to remove the cruise control switch wire from the cruise control main switch.
