DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when there is a malfunction in the ECM.

Tech Tips
The ECM receives signals from each sensor to control all functions of the cruise control system. When a malfunction is detected, the fail-safe function operates until the ignition switch off.
PROCEDURE
CHECK FOR DTCs (CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)
Clear the DTCs.
Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
Drive the vehicle at a speed for which cruise control operation is possible.
Turn the cruise control system on using the cruise control main switch (ON/OFF button).
Push the cruise control main switch to -SET to begin control of vehicle speed using the cruise control system.
Depress the brake pedal for 0.4 seconds or more.
Check for DTCs.
