THERMOSTAT(for Cylinder Block) REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the thermostat (for Cylinder Block) removal/installation are shown below.

REMOVE TIMING CHAIN COVER ASSEMBLY

REMOVE WATER INLET
1. Remove the 3 bolts, water inlet and heater return gasket from the cylinder block sub-assembly.
REMOVE THERMOSTAT (for Cylinder Block)
1. Remove the thermostat (for Cylinder Block) from the cylinder block sub-assembly.
2. Remove the No. 1 water inlet housing gasket from the thermostat (for Cylinder Block).
