FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING REASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL OUTSIDE MOULDING RETAINER (for TMMT Made)

   
   

   1. When using a new front door outside moulding:

      
      

      1. Clean the surface of the front door outside moulding.

   2. When reusing the front door outside moulding:

      
      

      1. Remove the double-sided tape from the front door outside moulding.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

   3. Install a new outside moulding retainer.

      
      

      1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the outside moulding retainer.

         Tech Tips

         After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. 

         *1	Mark-off Line
         *a	4.0 mm (0.157 in.)

         Install the outside moulding retainer as shown in the illustration.

2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR UPPER OUTSIDE MOULDING PAD

   
   

   1. When using a new front door outside moulding:

      
      

      1. Clean the surface of the front door outside moulding.

   2. When reusing the front door outside moulding:

      
      

      1. Remove the double-sided tape from the front door outside moulding.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

   3. Install a new front door upper outside moulding pad.

      
      

      1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the front door upper outside moulding pad.

         Tech Tips

         After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. 

         *1	Mark-off Line
         *a	3.0 mm (0.118 in.)
         *b	23.0 mm (0.906 in.)

         Install the front door upper outside moulding pad as shown in the illustration.
