  1. REMOVE REAR SIDE ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Simple Intelligent Parking Assist System)

  7. REMOVE NO. 6 FLOOR WIRE (w/ Wire Harness)


    1. w/ Simple Intelligent Parking Assist System and Rear Fog Light:


      1. Disengage the clamps to remove the No. 6 floor wire.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

    2. w/ Rear Fog Light:


      1. Disengage the clamps to remove the No. 6 floor wire.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. Disengage the clamps to remove the No. 6 floor wire.

  8. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Fog Light)

      Remove the 2 screws and rear fog light.

  9. REMOVE FOG LIGHT BRACKET (w/o Rear Fog Light)

      Remove the 2 screws and fog light bracket.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER COVER LH


    1. A005Q67

      Disengage the hook to remove the rear bumper upper cover LH.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

      B00497S Remove in this Direction

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw and guide to remove the reflex reflector assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  13. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE LH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the claws to remove the rear bumper plate LH as shown in the illustration.

  15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER MOULDING RETAINER LH (w/ Rear Bumper Moulding Retainer)

      *1 Outside Moulding Retainer

      Remove the 2 nuts.

    2. Remove the outside moulding retainer.

    3. Remove the No. 2 rear bumper side retainer LH and rear bumper moulding retainer LH with No. 1 rear spoiler protector.

    4. A005PZD

      Remove the No. 1 rear spoiler protector from the rear bumper moulding retainer LH.

  17. REMOVE REAR BUMPER MOULDING RETAINER RH (w/ Rear Bumper Moulding Retainer)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  18. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER PLATE

      Disengage the claws.

    2. A005OKC

      Disengage the hook to remove the No. 1 rear bumper plate.

  19. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD

      Remove the rear bumper pad.

  20. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH

      Remove the rear bumper pad LH.

  21. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH

      Remove the clip and screw.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the rear bumper side stay LH as shown in the illustration.

  24. REMOVE REAR BUMPER CENTER GUARD


    1. Remove the 2 clips and 6 outside moulding retainers.

    2. Disengage the claws and guides to remove the rear bumper center guard.

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the claw and guide to remove the rear bumper side retainer LH as shown in the illustration.

      Disconnect the connector to remove the rear combination light assembly LH.

  28. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH

  29. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Type A)

      Remove the 8 bolts and rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  30. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Type B)

      Remove the 4 bolts and rear bumper arm sub-assembly RH.
