FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY


    1. Move the front bumper assembly into position.

    2. B0049AKC01
      B00497S Install in this Direction

      Temporarily install the front bumper assembly with the engage claw as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the 3 bolts.

    4. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. Connect the connector.

    5. w/ Toyota Safety Sense:


      1. Connect the connector.

    6. w/ Fog Light:


      1. B00498BC01
        *A w/ Fog Light
        *B w/o Fog Light
        B00497S Remove in this Direction

        Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly and connect the connector.

        Note

        Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    7. w/o Fog Light:


      1. Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly and connect the connector to the fog light cover.

        Note

        Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    8. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:


      1. Connect the washer hose.

      Engage the claws as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    10. Remove the protective tape.

    11. Install the 6 screws.

      B00497S Install in this Direction

      Install the pin hold clip as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Insert the pin hold clip with the slot aligned vertically.

      Do not rotate the clip after inserting it.

      After installation, confirm that the slot is aligned vertically.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  2. INSTALL FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      B00497S Install in this Direction

      Engage the clip and claws to install the front fender moulding sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the 2 clips and 3 screws.

  3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL RADIATOR COVER

      Engage the guides to install the radiator cover as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the 4 clips and 2 hood bumper cushions.

  5. ADJUST FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Fog Light)

  6. ADD WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID
