8NR-FTS DRIVE BELT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH


    1. A001YFM

      Remove the 2 screws, 6 clips and rear engine under cover RH from the vehicle.

  2. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT


    1. A001W80C02
      *a 5 mm Hexagon Wrench

      Release the fan and generator V belt tension by turning the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly counterclockwise.

    2. Turn the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly counterclockwise to align its holes, and then insert a 5 mm hexagon wrench to secure the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly.

    3. Remove the fan and generator V belt.
