PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT ADAPTIVE HIGH BEAM SWITCH (NO. 2 COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

      Component without harness connected

      (Adaptive High Beam Switch (No. 2 Combination Switch Assembly))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      9 - 8 Adaptive high beam switch (No. 2 combination switch assembly) not pressed 1 MΩ or higher
      Adaptive high beam switch (No. 2 combination switch assembly) pressed Below 25 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the adaptive high beam switch (No. 2 combination switch assembly).

    2. Illumination Inspection


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the adaptive high beam switch (No. 2 combination switch assembly) and check that the switch illuminates.

        OK
        Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 12

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the adaptive high beam switch (No. 2 combination switch assembly).
