Note

If the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

  1. INITIALIZATION NO. 1 HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Perform initialization of the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

  2. CLEAR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling*1 or AHS*2 / Trouble Codes.


      • *1: w/o Adaptive High Beam System

      • *2: w/ Adaptive High Beam System

    5. Clear the DTCs.


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs
      Body Electrical > AHS > Clear DTCs

  3. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling*1 or AHS*2 / Trouble Codes.


      • *1: w/o Adaptive High Beam System

      • *2: w/ Adaptive High Beam System

    5. Check for DTCs.


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Trouble Codes
      Body Electrical > AHS > Trouble Codes
      OK
      DTC B2450 is not output.

      Tech Tips

      If the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTC B2450 even though the ECU has been initialized, there may be a malfunction in the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.
