AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHT BEAM LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM DTC CHECK / CLEAR


  1. CHECK FOR DTC (HL AUTOLEVELING) (w/o Adaptive High Beam System)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Trouble Codes.


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Trouble Codes

    5. Check for DTCs.

      As lighting system DTCs may also be output, if DTC B2414, B242C, B242D, B242E, B2439, B243A, B243D, B243E, U0073, U0101, U0126, U0129, U0142, U0155, U0242, U0293 or U1000 is output, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the lighting system.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC (AHS) (w/ Adaptive High Beam System)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AHS / Trouble Codes.


      Body Electrical > AHS > Trouble Codes

    5. Check for DTCs.

      • As lighting system DTCs may also be output, if DTC B2414, B242C, B242D, B242E, B2439, B243A, B243B, B243C, B243D, B243E, U0073, U0100, U0101, U0126, U0129, U0142, U0155, U023A, U0242, U0293 or U1000 is output, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the lighting system.

      • As adaptive high beam system DTCs may also be output, if DTC B2437, B2438, B2440, B2441, B2490, B2491, B2492 or B2493 is output, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the adaptive high beam system.

  3. CLEAR DTC (HL AUTOLEVELING) (w/o Adaptive High Beam System)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Trouble Codes.


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs

    5. Clear the DTCs.

  4. CLEAR DTC (AHS) (w/ Adaptive High Beam System)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AHS / Trouble Codes.


      Body Electrical > AHS > Clear DTCs

    5. Clear the DTCs.
