AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHT BEAM LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

  1. AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHT BEAM LEVEL CONTROL

    1. General

The automatic headlight beam level control system ensures forward visibility and prevents dazzling of drivers in oncoming and preceding vehicles by controlling the headlight beam level vertically when the weight of passengers and loads has caused the vehicle attitude to change.

      Tech Tips

      • The angle of the low beam headlights is adjusted up or down when the vehicle posture changes while the vehicle is stopped.*1

      • The angle of the low beam headlights is adjusted up or down when the vehicle posture changes while accelerating or decelerating.*2
