ADAPTIVE HIGH BEAM SYSTEM FREEZE FRAME DATA


  1. FREEZE FRAME DATA


    1. Whenever a adaptive high beam system DTC is stored, the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH stores the current vehicle state as freeze frame data.

  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AHS / Trouble Codes.

    5. Select a DTC to display its freeze frame data.

      OFF: Optical axis control (function to tilt up the headlights to illuminate farther distances when driving at high speeds) is not being performed

      ON: Optical axis control (function to tilt up the headlights to illuminate farther distances when driving at high speeds) is being performed

      Steering Sens Signal Steering sensor signal value -384.0 to 382.5 deg Changes according to the operation of the steering wheel -

      Leveling Motor Slave Status of the headlight leveling motor slave Normal or Abnoml

      Normal: Headlight leveling motor is normal

      Abnoml: Headlight leveling motor is not normal

      If operation is abnormal, there may be a LIN communication error
      Leveling Motor Over-Run Status of the headlight leveling motor over-run Normal or Abnoml

      Normal: Headlight leveling motor is normal

      Abnoml: Headlight leveling motor is not normal

      If operation is abnormal, there may be a LIN communication error
      AHS EDU Slave Status of the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly slave Normal or Abnoml

      Normal: Headlight light control ECU sub-assembly is normal

      Abnoml: Headlight light control ECU sub-assembly is not normal

  3. CLEAR FREEZE FRAME DATA

    Note

    Clearing the DTCs will also clear the freeze frame data.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.
