LIGHTING SYSTEM Turn Signal Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The combination meter assembly (meter circuit plate) receives the turn signal switch information and controls the turn signal lights.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY (METER CIRCUIT PLATE) AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the I7 combination meter assembly (meter circuit plate) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      I67-12 (TR) - I7-5 (ER) Always Below 1 Ω
      I67-11 (TL) - I7-11 (EL) Always Below 1 Ω
      I67-13 (CR) - I7-9 (SW) Always Below 1 Ω
      I67-12 (TR) or I7-5 (ER) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I67-11 (TL) or I7-11 (EL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I67-13 (CR) or I7-9 (SW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I67-15 (EL) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
