DESCRIPTION

A DTC is stored when a malfunction of the headlight fan occurs and the low beam headlight is dim. The No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTC B243D and B243E.

If the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling*1 or AHS*2 / Trouble Codes.


      • *1: w/o Adaptive High Beam System

      • *2: w/ Adaptive High Beam System

    5. Clear the DTCs.


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs
      Body Electrical > AHS > Clear DTCs

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Operate the light control switch to turn on the low beam headlights and wait 2 minutes.

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling*1 or AHS*2 / Trouble Codes.


      • *1: w/o Adaptive High Beam System

      • *2: w/ Adaptive High Beam System

    6. Check for DTCs.
