PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Adaptive High Beam System)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.


      1. Inspect the headlight leveling motor circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        B-7 (ACTBI) - F-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-8 (ACTSI) - F-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-17 (ACTGI) - F-3 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

      2. Inspect the high beam headlight circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        C-8 (HILED2) - D-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        C-9 (HILED1) - D-2 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

      3. Inspect the low beam headlight circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        B-4 (LOLED2) - D-6 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-5 (LOLED1) - D-5 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

      4. Inspect the headlight fan circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        B-6 (FANB) - D-3 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-15 (FANP) - D-7 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-14 (FANG) - D-4 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

      5. Inspect the clearance light circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        B-19 (CLL+) - D-8 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-2 (CLL-) - D-9 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Adaptive High Beam System)

        B-17 (ACTGI) - D-12 Always Below 1 Ω
        C-13 (LINLI) - D-11 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

      2. Inspect the add high beam headlight circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        C-8 (HILED2) - D-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        C-7 (HILED0) - D-2 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

      3. Inspect the low beam headlight circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        B-4 (LOLED2) - D-6 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-3 (LOLED0) - D-5 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

      4. Inspect the headlight fan circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        B-6 (FANB) - D-3 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-15 (FANP) - D-7 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-14 (FANG) - D-4 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

      5. Inspect the clearance light circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        B-19 (CLL+) - D-8 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-2 (CLL-) - D-9 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

      6. Inspect the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly power source and communication circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        C-13 (LINLI) - K-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω
        B-10 (HI+) - K-10 (LB) Always Below 1 Ω
        B-1 (HI-) - K-1 (LG) Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

      7. Inspect the LED array circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        K-2 (AR01) - E-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-3 (AR02) - E-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-11 (AR03) - E-3 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-12 (AR04) - E-4 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-13 (AR05) - E-5 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-14 (AR06) - E-8 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-15 (AR07) - E-9 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-16 (AR08) - E-10 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-17 (AR09) - E-11 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-20 (AR12) - E-11 Always Below 1 Ω
        G-1 - E-12 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

      8. Inspect the LED array fan circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        K-5 (FH) - E-13 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-7 (FG) - E-6 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-6 (FL) - E-7 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH (headlight cord).

  3. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT LH

    1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the headlight unit LH and check that the light illuminates.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 8

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 9

      Clearance light illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit LH.

  4. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Adaptive High Beam System)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH (headlight cord).

      2. Inspect the high beam headlight circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        C-8 (HILED2) - D-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        C-9 (HILED1) - D-2 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH (headlight cord).

      3. Inspect the low beam headlight circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        B-4 (LOLED2) - D-6 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-5 (LOLED1) - D-5 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH (headlight cord).

      4. Inspect the headlight fan circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        B-6 (FANB) - D-3 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-15 (FANP) - D-7 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-14 (FANG) - D-4 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH (headlight cord).

      5. Inspect the clearance light circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        B-19 (CLL+) - D-8 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-2 (CLL-) - D-9 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH (headlight cord).

      2. Inspect the add high beam headlight circuit.

        C-7 (HILED0) - D-2 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH (headlight cord).

      3. Inspect the low beam headlight circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        B-4 (LOLED2) - D-6 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-3 (LOLED0) - D-5 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH (headlight cord).

      4. Inspect the headlight fan circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        B-6 (FANB) - D-3 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-15 (FANP) - D-7 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-14 (FANG) - D-4 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH (headlight cord).

      5. Inspect the clearance light circuit.

        Standard Resistance

        B-19 (CLL+) - D-8 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-2 (CLL-) - D-9 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH (headlight cord).

      6. Inspect the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly power source and communication circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        C-13 (LINLI) - K-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω
        B-10 (HI+) - K-10 (LB) Always Below 1 Ω
        B-1 (HI-) - K-1 (LG) Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH (headlight cord).

      7. Inspect the LED array circuit.

        Standard Resistance

        K-3 (AR02) - E-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-11 (AR03) - E-3 Always Below 1 Ω

        K-20 (AR12) - E-11 Always Below 1 Ω
        G-1 - E-12 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH (headlight cord).

      8. Inspect the LED array fan circuit.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        K-5 (FH) - E-13 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-7 (FG) - E-6 Always Below 1 Ω
        K-6 (FL) - E-7 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH (headlight cord).

  6. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT RH

    1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the headlight unit RH and check that the light illuminates.

      OK

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 8

      Clearance light illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit RH.
