CHARGE LID OPENER MOTOR ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT CHARGE LID LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the operation of the charge lid lock with motor assembly (motor operation).

        *b Shaft Stroke
        *c Lever

        Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the charge lid lock with motor assembly connector, and check the operation of the charge lid lock with motor assembly.

        OK
        Auxiliary Battery Connection Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

        		 Shaft not extended

        If the result is not as specified, replace the charge lid lock with motor assembly.

    2. Measure the shaft stroke.

      OK
      Area Condition Specified Condition
      Shaft stroke Lever pulled

      11 mm

      (0.433 in.)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the charge lid lock with motor assembly.
