FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      B006J86 Place Hand Here
      B006IFV Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the claw and 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • As the claw may be damaged, make sure to disengage it carefully.

      • If the claw is damaged, replace the No. 1 upper box plate with a new one.

    2. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 12 clips and 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disconnect each connector.

    4. Disengage each clamp to remove the upper console panel sub-assembly and No. 1 upper box plate.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 UPPER BOX PLATE

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 upper box plate.

  3. REMOVE CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 6 screws and console cup holder box sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Solar Charging System)

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the 6 clips as shown in the illustration.

    4. Disconnect the connector to remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Solar Charging System)

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the 6 clips as shown in the illustration.

    4. Disconnect the connector to remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (w/o Solar Charging System)

      Remove the 6 bolts and rear console box assembly.

  7. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (w/ Solar Charging System)

      Remove the 6 bolts.

      Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and rear console box assembly.
