FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER(for Manual Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SEAT)

   
   
   1. 

      *A	for LHD
      *B	for RHD
      *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Cushion Heater Assembly (Driver Seat))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LHD Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition b6-1 - B-3 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) Below 1 Ω b6-2 - B-2 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 1.6 to 1.9 Ω b6-3 - B-1 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 2.8 to 3.5 Ω
      for RHD Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition a2-1 - B-1 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) Below 1 Ω a2-2 - B-2 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 1.6 to 1.9 Ω a2-3 - B-3 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 2.8 to 3.5 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly (driver seat).

2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (FRONT PASSENGER SEAT)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LHD Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition N83-6 - C-3 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) Below 1 Ω N83-7 - C-2 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 1.6 to 1.9 Ω N83-5 - C-1 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 2.8 to 3.5 Ω
      for RHD Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition N87-6 - C-3 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) Below 1 Ω N87-7 - C-2 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 1.6 to 1.9 Ω N87-5 - C-1 Seat heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 2.8 to 3.5 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly (front passenger seat).
