FRONT SEATBACK HEATER(for Manual Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SEAT)

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seatback Heater Assembly (Driver Seat))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Seat heater temperature 20 °C (68 °F) 1.7 to 2.0 Ω
      1 - 3 Seat heater temperature 20 °C (68 °F) 3.3 to 4.0 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback heater assembly (driver seat).

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (FRONT PASSENGER SEAT)

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seatback Heater Assembly (Front Passenger Seat))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Seat heater temperature 20 °C (68 °F) 1.7 to 2.0 Ω
      1 - 3 Seat heater temperature 20 °C (68 °F) 3.3 to 4.0 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback heater assembly (front passenger seat).
