SEAT HEATER SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK


  1. CHECK THERMOSTAT IN FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SEAT)


    1. Remove the front seat cushion heater assembly (driver seat).

    2. Remove the front seatback heater assembly (driver seat).

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seat Cushion Heater Assembly (Driver Seat))

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seatback heater Assembly (Driver Seat))

      Connect the B front seat cushion heater assembly (driver seat) connector and F front seatback heater assembly (driver seat) connector.

    4. Apply auxiliary battery voltage and check the operation of the front seat heater according to the table below.

      Note

      To prevent the front seat heater from overheating, be sure to disconnect the auxiliary battery from the front seat heater immediately after this inspection is completed.

    5. CHECK THERMOSTAT IN FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (FRONT PASSENGER SEAT)


      1. Remove the front seat cushion heater assembly (front passenger seat).

      2. Remove the front seatback heater assembly (front passenger seat).

Connect the C front seat cushion heater assembly (front passenger seat) connector and G front seatback heater assembly (front passenger seat) connector.

  • Apply auxiliary battery voltage and check the operation of the front seat heater according to the table below.

    Note

    To prevent the front seat heater from overheating, be sure to disconnect the auxiliary battery from the front seat heater immediately after this inspection is completed.
