The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the occupant detection ECU removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

  2. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU

      *a Protective Tape

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the occupant detection ECU.
