DESCRIPTION

The combination meter mirror ECU receives signals from the radio and display receiver assembly*1 or navigation receiver assembly*2 via local bus communication and displays audio and visual system or navigation system information on the headup display.

This DTC is stored when the combination meter mirror ECU cannot receive the signal.

Diagnosis Condition:


  • A registration information signal was received from the radio and display receiver assembly*1 or navigation receiver assembly*2 when ACC power source voltage was received by the radio and display receiver assembly*1 or navigation receiver assembly*2

  • The power switch is on (IG)

  • IG power source voltage is 9.5 V or more

Malfunction Status:


  • The registration information signal is not received from the radio and display receiver assembly*1 or navigation receiver assembly*2

Malfunction Time:


  • 30 seconds or more


  • Harness or connector

  • Radio and display receiver assembly*1

  • Navigation receiver assembly*2

  • Combination meter mirror ECU

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER MIRROR ECU)


    1. Disconnect the I99 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the G8 combination meter mirror ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      I99-3 (CNH1) - G8-7 (LCL+) Always Below 1 Ω
      I99-4 (CNL1) - G8-8 (LCL-) Always Below 1 Ω

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER MIRROR ECU)


    1. Disconnect the I36 navigation receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the G8 combination meter mirror ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I36-3 (CNH1) - G8-7 (LCL+) Always Below 1 Ω
      I36-4 (CNL1) - G8-8 (LCL-) Always Below 1 Ω
