SOLAR BATTERY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 SOLAR BATTERY MOUNT BRACKET

  2. INSTALL SOLAR BATTERY


    1. Install the solar battery to the solar battery bracket with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • When removing/installing/moving the solar battery, make sure not to tilt it more than 80°.

      • When lifting the solar battery, hold the solar battery at the shaded areas shown in the illustration which prevent deformation.

      • If the solar battery is installed while holding the battery at areas other than the shaded areas shown in the illustration, your hand may become caught between the solar battery and solar battery bracket.

    2. Engage the floor wire to the solar battery with the 2 clamps.

    3. Connect the solar battery connector.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 SOLAR BATTERY SHIELD PANEL


    1. Install the No. 1 solar battery shield panel with engage the 4 claws.

  4. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE BOX

  5. INSTALL CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
