SOLAR CONTROL UNIT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL SOLAR ENERGY CONTROL UNIT

   CAUTION:

   Wear insulated gloves.

      *c	No. 3 Solar Energy Control Bracket
      *d	Lower Rear Seat Console Box Bracket

      Align the hole of the No. 3 solar energy control bracket with the protrusion of the lower rear seat console box bracket and set the solar energy control unit.

   2. Temporarily install the bolt (A), and install the 3 bolts in the order of the bolt (B), bolt (C) and then bolt (A) to install the solar energy control unit to the lower rear seat console box bracket and vehicle body.

      Torque:

      19.5 N*m  { 199 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

   3. Remove the insulating tape from the 2 high-voltage connectors.

   4. Connect the 2 high-voltage solar energy control unit connectors.

   5. 

      *a	No. 2 Solar Energy Control Bracket

      Install the floor wire to the No. 2 solar energy control bracket with engage the clamp.

   6. Connect the 2 solar energy control unit connectors in the order shown in the illustration.
