DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when there is an open or short circuit in the communication line between the front side sensors and the ECU, or when there is a malfunction in a front side sensor.

    1. Perform intelligent clearance sonar system registration.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY - FRONT SIDE ULTRASONIC SENSOR LH)


    1. Disconnect the I28 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the B5 front side ultrasonic sensor LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I28-2 (CSB1) - B5-4 (BI) Always Below 1 Ω
      I28-7 (LIN1) - B5-5 (SI) Always Below 1 Ω
      I28-5 (CSG1) - B5-6 (EI) Always Below 1 Ω
      I28-2 (CSB1) or B5-4 (BI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I28-7 (LIN1) or B5-5 (SI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the B6 front side ultrasonic sensor RH connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      B5-1 (BO) - B6-4 (BI) Always Below 1 Ω
      B5-2 (SO) - B6-5 (SI) Always Below 1 Ω
