DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when there is an open or short circuit in the communication line between the rear side sensors and the ECU, or when there is a malfunction in a rear side sensor.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY - REAR SIDE ULTRASONIC SENSOR LH)


    1. Disconnect the I28 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the P1 rear side ultrasonic sensor LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I28-21 (CSB2) - P1-4 (S1) Always Below 1 Ω
      I28-26 (LIN2) - P1-5 (S2) Always Below 1 Ω
      I28-25 (CSG2) - P1-6 (E2) Always Below 1 Ω
      I28-21 (CSB2) or P1-4 (S1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
