CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during flow shutting valve (water valve) removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE
REMOVE INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)
REMOVE FLOW SHUTTING VALVE (WATER VALVE)
Disconnect the 3 connectors.
Disengage the clamp to disconnect the wire harness from the water outlet.
Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 3 radiator hose.
Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 9 water by-pass hose.
Remove the 2 nuts.
Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 10 water by-pass hose and remove the water outlet with the flow shutting valve (water valve).
Remove the water outlet gasket from the cylinder head sub-assembly.
Secure the water outlet in a vise between aluminum plates.
Note
Do not damage the water outlet.
Remove the 2 bolts and flow shutting valve (water valve).
Remove the gasket from the flow shutting valve (water valve).
