PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FUEL CONTROL SWITCH


    1. Inspect timer charging switch (fuel control switch)

        Component without harness connected

        (Timer Charging Switch (Fuel Control Switch))

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        6 (SW+) - 3 (E) Timer charging switch (fuel control switch) being pushed and held Below 50 Ω
        Timer charging switch (fuel control switch) not operated 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the timer charging switch (fuel control switch).

    2. Inspect illumination


      1. A003JVGC02
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Timer Charging Switch (Fuel Control Switch))

        Apply auxiliary battery voltage between the terminals of the switch, and check the illumination condition of the timer charging switch (fuel control switch).

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary Battery positive (+) → 5 (ILL+)

        Auxiliary Battery negative (-) → 4 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the timer charging switch (fuel control switch).
