PLUG-IN CHARGE CONTROL SYSTEM Cannot Set or Change Charge Schedule Setting

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HEALTH CHECK)

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Health Check.

   5. Check DTCs.

      Result
      Result Proceed to No DTCs are output. A DTCs are output. B

   6. Turn the power switch off.

2. SIMULATION TEST (USING MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY)

   
   

   1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

   2. Display the timer charging setting screen.

      
      

      1. Push the timer charging switch (fuel control switch) to display the timer charging setting screen on the multi-information display.

      2. Using the steering pad switches, enter the following menus on the multi-information display: Vehicle Settings / Charge settings / Charge Schedule.

      3. Change or set the charge schedule on the setting screen.

         Result
         Result Proceed to Charge schedule can be changed/set on multi-information display A Timer charging switch (fuel control switch) does not operate B Steering pad switches do not operate C Charge schedule cannot be changed/set on multi-information display D

   3. Turn the power switch off.

   CAUSE ANALYSIS (USER USING MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY RELATED CAUSE) Analyze the cause according to the following table. Interview customer and check the charging station. Click here Explain to the customer that the timer charging can be set on the multi-information display with the power switch on (IG) or on (READY). (Setting the timer charging is possible with the power switch off by using the timer charging switch (fuel control switch).) Interview customer and check the charging station. Click here Explain to the customer that up to 15 scheduled charge schedule can be registered. If more than 15 charge schedule are attempted to be set, the screen will gray outs. Take appropriate action in accordance with the result of the cause analysis.
