REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01MG25

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01MJ24

      Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Remove the bracket A and bracket B.

      B006JFV Remove in this Direction

      As shown in the illustration, disengage the claws at the bottom of the rear fog light assembly to remove the rear fog light assembly.

  2. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE


    1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

    2. Disengage the clamps to remove the No. 3 luggage room wire.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

  5. REMOVE REAR SIDE SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01MGPE

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Remove the 6 outside moulding retainers.

      B006JFV Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the claws to remove the rear side spoiler sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE REAR SIDE SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE CENTER REAR BUMPER BRACKET

      Remove the 4 outside moulding retainers.

    2. Remove the center rear bumper bracket.

  8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE LH

    1. Disengage the claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01MFYF

      Disengage the hook to remove the rear bumper plate LH.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

    B000ZUW Double-Sided Tape
    B006JFV Remove in this Direction

    1. Separate the 2 double-sided tapes.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the rear bumper energy absorber as shown in the illustration.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR


    1. A01MG8K

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Using a clip remover, disengage the claw to remove the rear bumper protector.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side.

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 6 bolts and rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01MGYP

      Remove the 3 bolts and rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      The clip cannot be completely removed.

      Using a clip remover, disengage the claws to remove the rear bumper side retainer LH as shown in the illustration.

  16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
