PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Hazard Warning Signal Switch Assembly)

      Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        4 (F) - 1 (E) Hazard warning signal switch off 10 kΩ or higher
        Hazard warning signal switch on Below 1 Ω

        Tech Tips

        If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning signal switch assembly.

      (Hazard Warning Signal Switch Assembly)

      Illumination Inspection.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the hazard warning signal switch assembly and check that the switch illuminates.

        OK
        Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (ILL+)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        Tech Tips

        If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning signal switch assembly.
