HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note


  • Do not replace the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly with the auxiliary battery connected and the power switch on (IG).

  • Do not rotate the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly without the steering wheel assembly installed, with the auxiliary battery connected and the power switch on (IG).

  • Ensure that the steering wheel assembly is installed and aligned straight when inspecting the steering sensor.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  1. REMOVE SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH

  3. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Pull in the direction shown by the arrow in the illustration to disengage the claws and remove the headlight dimmer switch assembly.
