HORN INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the operation.


      1. A01MI25C03
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (High Pitched Horn Assembly)
        *b Auxiliary battery
        *c Body Ground

        Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the terminal 1 and the body ground, and check that the horn sounds.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition
        Auxiliary battery positive (+) - Terminal 1 Horn sounds
        Auxiliary battery negative (-) - Body ground

        If the result is not as specified, replace the high pitched horn assembly.

  2. INSPECT LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the operation.


      1. A01MGYHC03
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Low Pitched Horn Assembly)
        *b Auxiliary battery
        *c Body Ground

        Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the terminal 1 and the body ground, and check that the horn sounds.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition
        Auxiliary battery positive (+) - Terminal 1 Horn sounds
        Auxiliary battery negative (-) - Body ground

        If the result is not as specified, replace the low pitched horn assembly.
