FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Luggage Door Opening Switch Assembly)
      *b Fuel Lid Open Switch

      Check the operation of the luggage compartment door opening switch assembly.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        2 (B) - 3 (L) Switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
        Switch pressed Below 1 Ω

    2. Inspect the illumination.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the luggage compartment door opening switch assembly connector, and check that the luggage compartment door opening switch assembly LED illuminates.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) - Terminal 1 (ILL+)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) - Terminal 5 (ILL-)

        		 LED illuminates

        • If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage compartment door opening switch assembly.
