PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FUEL LID WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Fuel Lid with Motor Lock Assembly)

      Check the operation.


      1. Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 2 (B) and negative (-) lead to terminal 1 (E), and check the movement of the fuel lid with motor lock assembly.

        OK
        Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) - Terminal 2 (B)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) - Terminal 1 (E)

        		 Shaft moves

      2. Measure the shaft stroke.

        OK
        Area Measurement
        A 11 mm (0.433 in.)

        • If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid with motor lock assembly.
