FRONT WIPER MOTOR REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM HEAD CAP (for LHD)

      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claws to remove the front wiper arm head cap.

  2. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM HEAD CAP (for RHD)

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claws to remove the front wiper arm head cap

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  3. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD)

      Remove the nut and the windshield wiper arm and blade assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH (for RHD)

      Remove the nut and the windshield wiper arm and blade assembly LH.

  5. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH (for LHD)

      Remove the 2 nuts and the windshield wiper arm and blade assembly RH.

  6. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

      Remove the nut and the windshield wiper arm and blade assembly RH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER TOP REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER TOP REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Disengage the claws and guides to raise the front side of cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the guides to remove the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  10. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK (for LHD)


    1. A01MI50

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. A01MJEAC01
      B006JFV Remove in this Direction

      Remove the 3 bolts.

    4. Disengage the motor grommet as shown in the illustration to remove the windshield wiper motor and link.

  11. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK (for RHD)

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

      B006JFV Remove in this Direction

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    4. Disengage the motor grommet as shown in the illustration to remove the windshield wiper motor link.

  12. REMOVE FRONT WIPER CRANK SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

      *1 No. 1 Windshield Wiper Link Rod
      *a Protective Tape
      *b Crank Arm Pivot

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, separate the No. 1 windshield wiper link rod from the crank arm pivot of the front wiper crank sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01MGLC

      Remove the nut and front wiper crank sub-assembly.

  13. REMOVE FRONT WIPER CRANK SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

      *1 No. 1 Windshield Wiper Link Rod
      *a Protective Tape
      *b Crank Arm Pivot

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, separate the No. 1 windshield wiper link rod from the crank arm pivot of the front wiper crank sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01MGSK

      Remove the nut and front wiper crank sub-assembly.

  14. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 bolts and windshield wiper motor assembly.
