WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM SYSTEM DESCRIPTION


  1. WASHER-LINKED FUNCTION


    1. This system operates the front wipers at low speed immediately after spraying a jet of washer fluid when the front washer switch is turned on for 0.3 seconds or more.

      The system operates the front wipers at low speed for approximately 2.2 seconds and then stops operation when the washer switch is turned on for 1.5 seconds or more.

  2. RAIN SENSOR FUNCTION


    1. The rain sensing function controls the wiper timing in accordance with the amount of raindrops that strike the windshield when the windshield wiper switch assembly is in AUTO.

    2. The windshield wiper switch assembly controls the timing based on the signal from the rain sensor.
