POWER WINDOW SWITCH(for Rear Side) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the resistance.

        *a LED Illumination
        *b

        Component without harness connected

        (Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection(Terminal Markings) Switch Condition Specified Condition
        5(UP) - 7(GND) UP(Manual Operation) → Center Position Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher
        4(DOWN) - 7(GND) DOWN(Manual Operation) → Center Position Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher
        8(AUTO) - 7(GND) UP, DOWN(Auto Operation) → Center Position Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher

        Tech Tips

        If the specified condition is not met, replace the rear power window regulator switch assembly.

    2. Check that the LED illuminates.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the rear power window regulator switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.

        Specified Condition
        Tester Connection(Terminal Markings) Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive → 3(ILL+)

        Auxiliary battery negative → 1(ILL-)

        		 LED illuminates

        Tech Tips

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power window regulator switch assembly.
