AIR CONDITIONING UNIT DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01MJ9J

      Disconnect the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disengage the guides to separate the quick heater assembly harness.

    3. A01MFIR

      Remove the 3 screws.

    4. Disengage the guide to remove the air conditioning radiator assembly.

  2. REMOVE ASPIRATOR

      Disengage the claw and guide to remove the aspirator.

  3. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the air conditioning harness assembly.

  4. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the screw.

    2. A01MJW1C01
      B006JFV Remove in this Direction (1)
      B006JHL Remove in this Direction (2)

      Disengage the guide to remove the air conditioning amplifier as shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE DRAIN COOLER HOSE


    1. A01MIVC

      Remove the drain cooler hose.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01MJ0H

      Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01MGSZ

      Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01MI59

      Remove the 3 screws and No. 3 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE QUICK HEATER ASSEMBLY

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLER THERMISTOR

  11. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      B006JFV Remove in this Direction

      In the direction shown by the arrows in the illustration, remove the heater radiator unit sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE


    1. A01MJYU

      Using a 4 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts and cooler expansion valve.

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01MIDW

      Remove the cooling unit packing.

      Note

      To be able to reuse the cooling unit packing, remove it taking care not to tear it.

    2. A01MIGL

      Remove the 4 screws.

    3. Disengage the claws to remove the lower heater case.

    4. A01MFWZ

      Disengage the clamp to remove the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly with the No. 1 cooler thermistor.

    5. A01MGQI

      Remove the 2 O-rings from the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly.

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER THERMISTOR
