  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the driver and front passenger sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the driver side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER (FRONT SEATBACK WITH COVER PAD)


    1. Install front seatback protector.

    2. A01MJ1EC01
      B006JFV Install in this Direction (1)
      B006JHL Install in this Direction (2)

      Push in installation direction (1) shown in the illustration to temporarily install the front seatback heater assembly (front seatback with cover pad).

    3. Push in the rear end of the front seatback heater assembly (front seatback with cover pad) in installation direction (2) shown in the illustration.

    4. Install the front seatback cover bracket with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • When installing the bracket, check that the band is not twisted.

      • Install the bracket so that it encloses the front seat airbag assembly.

      • If the bracket is not securely installed, the front seat airbag assembly may not deploy correctly.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT BACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. CONNECT FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. A01MG59

      Engage the clamps to connect the front seat wire to the front seat airbag wire.

    2. A01MGDT

      Engage the clamps to connect the front seat airbag wire.

    3. A01MITR

      Engage the clamp.

    4. Connect the connector.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. A01MGU0

      Connect the 3 connectors.

    2. Engage the clamps to install the front seat wire RH.

  6. CONNECT FRONT SEAT BACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD
