        *a

        Component without harness connected

(Seat Heater Switch (for LH Side))

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance (for LO Side)
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        2 (IG) - 1 (LO) Lo switch on Below 1 Ω
2 (IG) - 1 (LO) Lo switch off 10 kΩ or higher
        Standard Resistance (for HI Side)
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        2 (IG) - 3 (HI) Hi switch on Below 1 Ω
2 (IG) - 3 (HI) Hi switch off 10 kΩ or higher

If the specified condition is not met, replace the seat heater switch (for LH Side).

    2. Check the switch indicator.

      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the seat heater switch and check that the switch indicator come on.

        OK (for LO Side)
Measurement Condition Switch Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 2 (IG)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 (E)

        Lo switch on Illuminates
        OK (for HI Side)
Measurement Condition Switch Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 2 (IG)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 (E)

        Hi switch on Illuminates

If the specified condition is not met, replace the seat heater switch (for LH Side).

    3. Check the switch illumination.

      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the seat heater switch and check that the switch illumination come on.

        OK
Measurement Condition Switch Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 4 (ILL+)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 5 (ILL-)
