REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

INSTALL SEAT BELT RETRACTOR COVER

Engage the guide to install the seat belt retractor cover.

INSTALL REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

Before installing the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly, check the ELR function.

*a	UNLOCK
*b	LOCK
*c	27°

When the inclination of the retractor is 12° or less, check that the belt can be pulled from the retractor. When the inclination of the retractor is over 27°, check that the belt locks.

Note

Do not disassemble the retractor.

Engage the guide to temporarily install the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly.
Temporarily install the 2 bolts.
Fully tighten the bolts in the sequence starting from the front of the vehicle and moving towards the back of the vehicle.

Torque:

Front side

12.5 N*m { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

Rear side

42 N*m { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
*1 Locking Button

Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.

Note

Securely lock the locking button.
Install the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

Torque:

42 N*m { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
Inspect ELR lock:
1. Check that when installed to the vehicle, pulling the belt out quickly will cause the belt to lock.
Remove the bolt to separate the front anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.

INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

Pass the rear seat 3-point type belt assembly OUT RH and rear seat 3-point type belt assembly OUT LH through the package tray trim panel assembly.
As shown in the illustration, engage in the guides.

Engage the clip to install the package tray trim panel assembly.
