  1. INSPECT REAR SEAT HEATER SWITCH RH


    1. Remove the rear seat heater switch RH.

    2. Inspect the rear seat heater switch RH.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SEAT HEATER SWITCH RH - POWER SOURCE AND BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the rear seat heater switch RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      P32-3 (IG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P32-10 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SEAT HEATER SWITCH RH - REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the P32 rear seat heater switch RH connector.

    2. Disconnect the Q24 rear seatback cover sub-assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P32-4 (HI) - Q24-6 (HI) Always Below 1 Ω
      P32-4 (HI) - Body ground Always 10 KΩ or higher
      Q24-6 (HI) - Body ground Always 10 KΩ or higher
      P32-2 (LO) - Q24-5 (LO) Always Below 1 Ω
      P32-2 (LO) - Body ground Always 10 KΩ or higher
      Q24-5 (LO) - Body ground Always 10 KΩ or higher

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Q24-1 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
